Marathon run raises almost £1K
Congratulations to David Pepper who completed the 2009 London Marathon in 3 hrs 52 minutes and 21 seconds.
A hot sunny day did not hamper his efforts. David smashed his personal best of 3hrs and 56mins and raised over £1000 to help people who are homeless or have mental ill-health, or affected by domestic abuse.
David, who only started running three years ago, was supported by friends and staff who were dotted all over the course cheering him on.
A glutton for punishment, David will be running a 10k race this Sunday, and over the summer he will be busy preparing for his second marathon this October in Chicago.
Carr-Gomm would like to say a big thank you to David. The money raised will help to improve the lives of disadvantaged people.
